Drunk on Solitude (2021) ISO 180 Exhibition 2021

Drunk on Solitude is a series of metallic digital prints created from 120 mm film scans set in shadowboxes, exploring the anxiety surrounding the return to β€˜normalcy’ after the pandemic. Over the course of the last year, we have experienced anxiety and stress as we collectively adjust to a temporary new normal consisting of self-isolation, masks, and toilet paper shortages. Yet there is a fear in losing these securities- hiding behind the screen or a mask has become the norm, so what happens next; not only for us as individuals but worldwide. Will the world look as it did before? Do we even remember what life was before the pandemic? I feel as though the pandemic has split my life into two: the before and the after. But what lies after?
