Drunk on Solitude (2021) ISO 180 Exhibition 2021

Drunk on Solitude is a series of metallic digital prints created from 120 mm film scans set in shadowboxes, exploring the anxiety surrounding the return to ‘normalcy’ after the pandemic. Over the course of the last year, we have experienced anxiety and stress as we collectively adjust to a temporary new normal consisting of self-isolation, masks, and toilet paper shortages. Yet there is a fear in losing these securities- hiding behind the screen or a mask has become the norm, so what happens next; not only for us as individuals but worldwide. Will the world look as it did before? Do we even remember what life was before the pandemic? I feel as though the pandemic has split my life into two: the before and the after. But what lies after?
